Is hip-hop on Life-Support, buried alive, or just dead? Is hip-hop dead?
I’m wondering if hip-hop is either on Life-Support, buried alive, or just dead. Is hip-hop dead?
Most rappers in the 21st century rap about money, cars, clothes, women, men, swag, sex, and make up idiotic dances.
I think that most rappers now days just make CLUB BANGERS, I have no problem with club bangers, but these new ones don’t make much sense to me… if a hip-hop artist is gonna make a club banger it has to make sense.
Materialistic rappers get airplay and recognition, but real rappers that have a message get slept on.
Tell me… is it dead? or alive? If its alive, answer me this how many people support TRUE HIP HOP.
* Answer the following questions.
1.) – Is hip-hop dead, buried alive, or on life-support?
2.) – Do most rappers in the 21st century rap about money, cars, clothes, women, men, swag, sex, and make up idiotic dances?
3.) – Do most rappers now days just make CLUB BANGERS?
4.) – Do materialistic rappers get airplay and recognition, but real rappers that have a message get slept on?
5.) – How many of you, or how many people support TRUE Hip-Hop?
Thank you…
hip hop is on life support. There is still a chance that it can be saved, but only if the right artists are there. My answer to all the other questions is…. Lil Wayne is whack, so is soulja boy, fat joe, and basically all the south except ludacris, jeezy, and some others

It’s funny how people look at hip hop like some "sacred" thing.
It’s just a another type of music don’t take it too seriously.

4) Rhetorical?
5) Not sure what you mean by "TRUE Hip-Hop"…what exactly would "FALSE Hip-Hop" be? How is it false?

Hip Hop is alive and well and anyone who says otherwise has their head up their ass.
2) "Most rappers in the 21st century rap about money, cars, clothes, women, men, swag, sex, and make up idiotic dances."
And how is that different from Biggie, NWA, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, 2pac, Jay-Z, and countless others?
3.) "Do most rappers now days just make CLUB BANGERS?"
Most club bangers feature rappers. But 99.999% of the new rappers I listen don’t make those type of songs. So no.
4) "Do materialistic rappers get airplay and recognition, but real rappers that have a message get slept on?"
This has always been true. Look up A Tribe Called Quest’s radio play and record sales compared to Sir Mix A Lot and Two Live Crew.
5) "How many of you, or how many people support TRUE Hip-Hop?"
There’s no such thing as true and false hip hop. Just different styles of the same genre.
